About
The families with children aged 0 – 10 at Northbridge Station Church are working on family- and community-based rituals that we hope will help our children develop appreciation for the virtues evident in the life and teachings of Jesus.
One of our action initiatives is to have a special meal once a week during which we do, look at, or read a little something to help us focus on a virtue.
We are hoping to get input from the larger community by using this wiki.
Our mission statement: We are a community of Northbridge citizens who engage with our children and families through intentional relationships, conversations and practices to foster the virtues and spirituality evident in the life and teachings of Jesus.

Hey Benji, Nice landing page, seems to describe the general flavor of what we’re about with just the right balance of info. What would you think of putting the full mission statement we worked on in the slot at the bottom? I think it’d be great to add your parenthetical examples of virtues at the end of it, as well. A paraphrase may be more accessible, so it may be worth considering, but the full statement helps clear up some of the issues that we’ve talked about as a group (e.g. stressing family & children, as opposed to more focused on children). Maybe you see it differently or we could invite more input?
I’ll copy / paste our statement below:
We are a community of NB citizens who engage with our children and families through intentional relationships, conversations and practices to foster the virtues and spirituality evident in the life and teachings of Jesus.

By the way, “wordpress” is the same platform that the Northbridge blog is on, so we can access both with the same username/password combo … convenient.

By the way Benji, the blog looks great. At first glance, it appears to be a much cleaner interface.
